Meet the team!

Alison Rider
Company Director

Alison’s first contact with Oonasdivers was in 1992, when her design partnership was contracted to design adverts and the Oonasdivers brochure. Alison was eventually ‘baptised’ in 1996 when she learnt to dive in the Red Sea and since then has become more and more involved in Oonasdivers. In 2002 Alison became a director and has little time for wind surfing now, one of her favourite past times!

Emma Wright
Company Director

Emma joined Oonasdivers fresh from University in 1997 and has been part of the furniture ever since. She has pretty much seen it all, from it’s early days as a more intimate little company with just a handful of tours with loyal regulars, through to it’s gradual expansion and diversity into other tours and avenues. Emma was ready to take up the challenge as a Director in January 2002, and has been overseeing the marketing and advertising in particular, which makes use of her creative side. Her enthusiastic and fun approach reinforces Oonasdivers’ identity as do all the staff, and is also a great customer friendly voice on the other end of the phone. Definitely the girl to get the group social going – where’s the next party Em?!! Hic!

Lydia Lodge 
Tour Consultant

Lydia was a long standing customer of Oonasdivers before she joined our team, when she brought her own dive club members out on tours with us. After Lydia and her husband closed Hastings Dive Centre in 2005 she was invited to bring her wealth of knowledge and experience to the Oonasdivers team. Lydia first learnt to dive in 1996 and as an experienced and passionate member of the team Lydia knows most of what there is to know about our diving adventures first hand and what she doesn’t know she will most certainly find out!

Sharmin Islam

Sharmin joined Oonasdivers in November 2006, learned to dive at Marsa Shagra and hasn’t looked back since.
Being a relatively new diver Sharmin relates particularly well to those looking to enter into the sport, as well as the more seasoned diver. The experience she has gained from travelling and diving the resorts that Oonasdivers offers means that you will be provided with all the information you need to ensure your holiday runs smoothly. Sharmin is a bubbly character and oozes enthusiasm for everyone’s holiday. You’ll see what we mean when you’ve spoken to her.

Caroline Ventris-Field
Tour Consultant

Carrie began her Oonasdivers days in 2003 and has experienced many changes and new tours through the years. She has a full rounded experience of virtually every aspect of the frontline in the office, her forte being customer service and a methodical organised approach to administration. Having recently returned from her second maternity leave on a part time basis Carrie continues with the same precision and calm professional manner of previous years. Every office could do with a Caroline!
