Coron Bay is famed throughout the world for its historical and sunken wartime treasures, namely in the form of several Japanese World War II wrecks that lie within recreational diving depths in rich turquoise waters. These well-preserved wrecks draw visitors from around the globe, with many ships spanning an impressive 100-200m in length, covered with coral growth and easily penetrable in the calm and warm waters. Diving here is suitable for all levels amongst pristine reefs, vibrant marine life and the most fascinating underwater landscapes.

Whether you’re looking to learn to dive, wishing to expand your skills or simply seeking submersive adventures of historic wonder in Coron’s wreck-paradise waters, the friendly team have years of experience to share their knowledge and expertise of all the local sites with you. With a small guide-to-diver ratio guaranteed, dives will be personalised, comfortable and tailored to your needs.

If you are a beginner wreck diver looking for introductory sites to fuel your curiosity and hone your skills, there are a number of ships on the shallower depths of the sandy bottom, which are easily penetrable, and enjoyable to observe even from the exterior. Many of these sites are suitable for Open Water certification levels with vessels covered in beautiful corals and home to a large variety of marine life, making these opportune dives for the budding underwater photographer. For experienced wreck divers and those who are Advanced Open Water qualified, you will find deep wartime vessels with intriguing remains and challenging penetration points, which promise a delightful mix of fascinating artefacts, hard corals, soft corals and swarms of beautiful fish for hours of exploration and discovery of some of the best-preserved wrecks in the world.

The Philippines is in the heart of the Pacific and blessed with tropical weather; there are two pronounced seasons, dry and wet. Late October to early June tends to be the most popular time, however, the critters and marine life are found here year-round. Visibility is around 15-25m, sometimes offering over 30m in certain areas.

Busuanga is the largest of the Calamian archipelago in the province of Palawan. The island is located halfway between the Mindoro and Palawan and is the gateway to many island retreats and several World War II wrecks.

Coron Airport is an approximately 60-minute domestic flight from Manila International Airport. You will then be transferred by car to Busuanga Bay Lodge, which takes around 60 minutes.
