Southern Red Sea Mini Safari

This tour offers a great combination of resort based and liveaboard diving. Warm up for a couple of days on a day boat before returning to all the creature comforts of a modern hotel for the evening, then spend the next few days at sea, reaching the sites that are really only comfortably accessible from a liveaboard.

Accommodation for the land based part of your tour will be provided at the Lahami Azur Resort.








The liveaboard accommodation will be on Blue Planet 1.

The closest airport to Lahami Azur is currently Marsa Alam, transfer time is approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
Flights depart from Gatwick with Thomson Airways weekly and current flying schedules are as follows:

November 2011 – end April 2012 Thursdays
May 2012 – end October 2012 Wednesdays

Several excursions are available to book and pay for locally such as quad biking, horse riding and cultural tours, or you can simply relax and take a massage.
Kite and windsurfing can also be arranged at the nearby Kite Village, but we do recommend this to be booked in advance, please ask us for details when you enquire.

Daily diving starts from around 8am and returns to Hamata port around 4pm. With a transfer time of just a few minutes between the two, this gives you plenty of time to relax at the hotel and take advantage of the swimming pool before dinner. Specific meeting times would be advised the night before depending on distance of dive site.
