Nestled between the stunning mountains of the Wadi El Gamal national park and the glorious Southern Red Sea, the 4* resort of the Wadi Lahami Azur is just 2 hours from Marsa Alam airport in the unspoilt area of Hamata.

The resort was built in 2008 and offer guests all the comforts you would expect from a modern hotel but in a tranquil and natural setting.

All rooms offer views of their manicured gardens, either one of their two freshwater swimming pools or the Red Sea.

Wadi Lahami Azur is perfect for couples, friends and those with non diving families.

For those that choose to stay ashore during the day you can relax around the pool, spend time exploring the beach and its small coves, or take one of the excursions that are available locally.

For divers, being from just 40 minutes sailing time from the Fury Shoals you can experience some of the best diving that the Southern Red Sea has to offer. Non divers are also welcome on board to relax, swim or snorkel.

Wadi Lahami Azur offer a total of 235 standard rooms with either a king size or 2 twin beds, some of which are interconnecting and are ideal for families.

Room facilities include personal safes, A/C, shower or bath, hairdryer, dressing gown & slippers, mini bar, telephone, satellite TV including several English speaking channels and tea and coffee making facilities. Each room has a balcony or terrace with a small table and chairs with either pool or beach view, several rooms offer both.

The closest airport to Wadi Lahami Azur is currently Marsa Alam airport, transfer time is approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.

Flights depart from Gatwick with Thomson Airways weekly, current flying schedules are as follows:

Alternative flights are available from Gatwick and Manchester into Hurghada on Fridays and Mondays (sometimes Saturdays), transfer time to Wadi Lahami Azur would be approximately 5 hours.

Wadi Lahami Azur offer a soft all inclusive board basis. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in the main restaurant and are buffet style, snacks are available between meals from the pool or beach bar.

At breakfast you will find a selection of fresh fruit and juices, tea and fresh coffee, cold meats and cheeses, international breads and pastries, cereals, yoghurts and a dedicated egg chef tempting you with made to order omelettes.

Lunch presents you with a wide selection of salads both of local and European flavour, soups, some cold meats and cheeses, a few hot choices (meat or fish and vegetable dishes) and a dedicated pasta chef, you will also find a selection of sweets and fresh fruit.

Dinner offers all of the above but with a wider range of hot dishes and deserts, as well as a dedicated pasta chef inside of an evening, outside you will find a dedicated pizza chef cooking fresh and made to order, and if this isn’t enough for you each night offers a different themed BBQ, from Arabian, Mexican and European. You certainly won't leave the Azur Resort hungry!

Alcohol is charged as an extra payable on site, water, soft drinks, tea’s and coffees are included within your package.

Several excursions are available to book and pay for locally such as quad biking, horse riding and cultural tours, or you can simply relax and take a massage.

Kite and windsurfing can also be arranged at the nearby Kite Village, but we do recommend this to be booked in advance, please ask us for details when you enquire.

Transfer time from the hotel to Port Berenice takes around 5 minutes.

Aquarius 12, the daily dive boat, departs daily anytime between 6am and 9am depending on which dive sites have been chosen on the previous day. Sites chosen will depend on weather conditions and experience of the divers on board and as always the captain and dive guide will make the ultimate decision, but they will be very open to your site preferences and suggestions. Aquarius 12 returns to port between 4.00pm and 4.30pm.

Whilst on board you can take a minimum of 2 dives a day, a 3rd dive may be available but is arranged and paid for locally. Between dives both before and after your hearty freshly prepared lunch you have the opportunity to swim and snorkel.
