Accommodation at Dolphin Camp is budget and basic, but the camp really does offer a warm, friendly and family atmosphere. With several areas arranged as communal spaces you can easily while the afternoons and evenings away just sitting, chatting, eating and drinking with your fellow guests and friendly staff.

Dolphin Camp is ideal for those who are watching the pennies and can live without all of the additional facilities that the modern day hotels offer, and perfect for those who really just want to enjoy a different holiday experience.

When staying at Dolphin camp your diving is arranged with the neighboring Nesima Dive Centre.

Nesima’s Dive Centre, a 5* PADI Dive Resort is one of the most established diving operations in Dahab, maintaining an extremely high level of standards in terms of service, safety and equipment. The diving itself is suitable for all levels of experience, and ideal for training, the staff are professional, flexible, warm and friendly.

Dolphin Camp offers 4 types of accommodation:

Beautiful domed-ceiling rooms with air conditioning, en-suite bathroom & fridge.

Wooden cabins set in the palm trees with air conditioning, en-suite bathroom & fridge.

Beach Rooms. Simple camp rooms with fan and double bed.

Bamboo Bungalows. Simple camp rooms with fan and single beds.

We can arrange your flights from many UK airports to Sharm El Shiekh including Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Nottingham East Midlands, Glasgow and many more. Flying days may vary depending on the airline and its flight schedules.

The flight to Sharm normally takes around 5 hours. On arrival at Sharm airport you will be met by the Dolphin Camp representative who will be holding a sign with the Dolphin Camp logo and/or your name. The transfer time to Dolphin Camp is approximately 1 hour.

Breakfast is served every morning and hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day. In the evenings at Dolphin Camp they often light the barbecue, cook together, eat together and chat the evening away. A special treat is to invite one of their local Bedouin friends to cook fresh fish for you over the fire – fantastic!

When staying at Dolphin but diving with Nesima one of the best places to take lunch is Nesima'spool bar where you can grab a simple sandwich, homemade burgers, and gorgeous salads, there’s plenty of choice. For evenings Nesima’s restaurant, which you are also welcome to use, also has a fantastic reputation throughout Dahab, you can choose from many international and oriental dishes from simple pasta’s to Picata à la Mushroom. Their specialty has to be their fillet steaks with a choice of 8 sauces… delicious, they also offer a good range of vegetarian dishes.

Outside of Dolphin Camp around the town of Dahab and on the promenade, you will find a large selection of reasonably priced restaurants and a few bars. If you do enjoy a tipple with your meal do check that wine and beer are served, as not all restaurants in the area will offer alcohol.

Dolphin Camp is suitable for non-divers, as it is close to the pedestrianised town area as well as being on the seafront promenade.  Dolphin Camp staff are happy to arrange excursions to St. Catherine's Monastery, Mount Sinai, Coloured Canyon and White Canyon, as well as snorkelling trips to the beaches north and south of Dahab town.

From Dolphin its easy to extend your stay, maybe a few days relaxing in a luxury beach front hotel in Sharm, or a cultural visit to Cairo or Alexandria, please ask your tour advisor prior to booking what could be available.

Diving from Dolphin Camp is with the neighbouring Nesima Resort.

At Nesima your diving day starts between 8am -8.30am when you meet at the dive centre, 30 minutes later you’re on your way for your first dive of the day. Return to the dive centre for lunch is generally around 12pm, and then if you’re taking an afternoon dive you head out again at 1.30pm returning around 4pm. Night dives start from 7pm onwards depending on the time of year.

A few of Dahab’s remote dive sites, such as Gabr El Bint and Ras Abu Galum, are only accessible by boat or by camel. Once a week Nesima charter a boat to take guests to explore these pristine, high energy reefs or we can also organise a camel diving safari for you and your buddies if you wish to enjoy the unique experience of travelling to dive sites the traditional Bedouin way.
