International flights are available both direct or via Cairo from the UK. For those already in Egypt domestic flights are available from Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Sharm via Cairo.
For Hurghada & Marsa Alam often the easiest way to reach Luxor is to transfer straight through the desert and mountain ranges by car, this takes around 3 hours from Safaga and includes breaks. If combining Luxor with a tour of Cairo we can offer an overnight sleeper train…. now that’s an adventure in itself.
Nile Cruises are booked as full board, the main on board restaurant is elegantly furnished and offers a good range of international and oriental cuisine. All tables are dressed with fine tablecloths and embellished with colourful floral displays. Silver service can be provided for lunch and dinner when dining from the set menu.
Meals included on board are Breakfast, served open buffet style, Lunch & Dinner where you have the choice of buffet or set menu, and around 5 pm, for an additional fee, afternoon tea and cakes.
After dinner you’ll have plenty of time to relax in one of the 4 bars on board (Piano bar, Lounge Bar, Pool Bar or English Pub) and should you have any energy left there’s also an onboard disco.
Our Nile Cruises can be combined with many of our Red Sea dive holidays as well as the cultural Cairo & Aswan tours, please speak to us about tailor making your ideal itinerary.
