The islands that time forgot, and a diving experience you never will.

The “Enchanted Islands” of Galapagos where made famous by the studies of Charles Darwin that became his “Theory of Evolution,” the volcanic islands of Galapagos have been declared a National Park of Ecuador and the second largest Marine Reserve in the world.

The Galapagos Islands National Park features an amazing diversity of indigenous animals, many endemic, which are unusually tame due to lack of predation and many years of protection. This protection must continue to preserve the uniqueness of Galapagos for future generations.

The primary attraction in Galapagos is the large pelagics such as schooling Hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, and Whale sharks. Occasionally, there is sighting of Whales, Marlin, Dolphins and Orcas. You will see a rare combination of warm and cold water creatures including Sea Lions, Mantas, Penguins, Ray, Turtles, Moray Eels, and enormous schools of unusual fish. Many of the marine creatures are found nowhere else on earth!

The Aggressor Fleets “Mission Statement” is “to provide scuba divers with the highest quality, most innovative and safest live-aboard experience possible, to offer unparalleled customer service and the most comfortable dive yachts, accessing the best diving locations around the world” and the Belize Aggessor I certainly has the potential to fulfil.

Galapagos Aggressor I sleeps a maximum of 14 guests in the style and comfort, exactly what you would expect from one of the worlds leading fleet of liveaboards.

All staterooms are air conditioned and fitted with private toilets, showers, sinks, and hair dryers. Linens are changed mid-week and fresh towels are placed in each stateroom as needed.

There are 3 "Master" staterooms on the upper deck, the cabins have 2 single berths that can be made into 1 queen upon request, they have a picture window,  and TV/DVD/MP3 players.

Below deck you will find 4 “Deluxe” staterooms with two single berths, port window and TV/DVD/MP3 players.

The Galapagos Aggressor I has a beautiful spacious salon, large sun deck with shading, chaise lounges and deck chairs, bar, grill, hot tub, and a complete photo/video center. The onboard video format is both NTSC and PAL.

Quito is possibly the best city to fly to, unfortunately there are no direct flights available, in most cases you will fly either via Madrid or Amsterdam (KLM or Iberia).

Once you arrive in Quito you will spend the night in hotel close to the airport, the following morning you will take your onward AeroGal flight to San Cristobal where you will then board the Aggressor I.

When you enquire we will chat through the options that are available to you at the time.

The onboard menu is varied and plentiful, with a variety of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. You will awaken to fresh fruits, hot entrees, cereals and juices. Lunches are buffet-style, featuring hot soups, homemade breads, salads and sandwiches and/or entrees.

Dinners are served each evening and include salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken with a fresh homemade dessert. Once onboard, please speak to the chef about any special needs. Certain special dietary and beverage requests may not be

available due to the remote nature of this location.

The Aggressor’s selection of drinks include fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. Due to the high duty charged on liquor, we suggest you bring your special brand from the U.S. Due to local regulations; the bar will be closed while the boat is in port.

Drinking and diving do not mix. Once you consume alcohol, you become a snorkeler until the next day.

Lets face it, it’s a long way to come and not extend by a few days to explore just a little of what these amazing islands and country has to offer.

We can arrange additional cruises where you can visit many of the islands and explore their magical flora and fauna. A popular extension has been to Sacha Lodge, a 5000-acre private ecological reserve in Ecuador's Amazon region. If cities and culture are your thing have a chat with us about extending a few days in Quito and visiting some of the surrounding colourful markets.

The Galapagos Aggressor I offers a new itinerary in compliance with the Galapagos National Park regulations which required companies with permits to choose either land excursions or diving (there are no permits offering both).

A maximum of three dives will be offered daily; two in the morning and one in the afternoon.

New diving areas have been added to the itinerary: Roca Redonda and Punta Vicente Roca (Isabela Island) and in 2012 they will add Pinta Island. The yachts continue to dive Cousins Rock and Bartolome Island but will no longer dive Gordon Rocks or Seymour Island due to park regulations.

The Galapagos itinerary is controlled by the National Park who grants approval for normal itineraries and accepts requests for special itineraries.

Friday: Morning dive at Punta Carrion (Santa Cruz Island), Afternoon dive Cousins Rock

Saturday: Morning and Afternoon dive at Wolf

The tour will then arrive in the quaint town of Puerto Ayora where guests will have lunch at a local restaurant of their choice (the only meal not included in the cruise), time for shopping and an optional visit to the tortoise-breeding center Fausto Llerena and Charles Darwin Research Station.

Thursday: After a full breakfast, check out is at 8 am when you will be transported to the San Cristobal Airport.

Please note that a $100 national park fee is payable on arrival in Galapagos.
