Kuredu Island Resort is located 40 minutes by seaplane from Malé (Hulhulé) airport in Lhaviyani Atoll in the Maldives, an area famous for its abundant fish life and a paradise with more than 3 km of white beaches and aquamarine lagoons, exotic, thatched bungalows and spacious villas.

Kuredu Island is suitable for divers and non-divers, families, couples or even groups. This is the ideal destination if you are looking for a holiday that stands out amongst others along with a little taste of paradise.

This is also home to PADI 5-star dive Centre, Prodivers. With over 50 dive & snorkel sites to explore, Kuredu Island is the ideal location for those discovering the underwater world for the first time, and those looking to push their diving and snorkelling experiences to the next level.

Garden Bungalow

The best value accommodation located behind the beach villas. The Garden Bungalow features a semi open bathroom, electronic safe, mini bar, telephone with international direct dialing facility, coffee making facilities, a CD player, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, beach towels and sun loungers.

Beach Bungalow

Basic accommodation similar to the garden bungalow but is beach facing amidst total tropical surroundings.

Kaomas Beach Villa

These are luxurious and spacious wooden villas facing the ocean. As well as the standard facilities, the Kaomas Beach Villa features a semi open bathroom, bath robes, rain jackets, sun loungers and a day bed on the deck. The allocated restaurant will be Kaomas.

Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villa

Luxurious and spacious wooden villas facing the ocean, the Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villa features a semi open bathroom with Jacuzzi and day bed, bath robes, rain jackets and sun loungers, Guests will be allocated in the Kaomas Restaurant for the buffet meal.

O Beach Villa

These are luxurious and spacious wooden villas facing the ocean, located in the north west of the island which is a quieter location and no children policy. The allocated restaurant is the O restaurant. Features are a semi open bathroom, bath robes, rain jackets, sun loungers and a day bed on the deck.

O Jacuzzi Beach Villa

Luxurious and spacious wooden villas facing the ocean. Located in the south east of the resort and allocated buffet restaurant is in O. Villas feature a semi open bathroom with Jacuzzi and day bed, bath robes, rain jackets and sun loungers.

Sangu Water Villa

The most luxurious and spacious wooden villas built on the stilts over the lagoon with direct access to the lagoon waters.

All accommodation types also include CD-player/IPOD player Tea & Coffee making facility Air conditioning, ceiling fan Mini-bar Safe Telephone Beach towels, Hair-drier (on request in Garden villa) Decking and sun beds, bathroom and terrace. Apart from the Garden villa, all other accommodation includes flat screen TV's and some have ipod players.

It is worth arranging the fully inclusive package prior to arrival. With all inclusive you receive three meals a day from your allocated restaurant, which depends on your accommodation choice and soft drinks, water, some spirits and beer. All the restaurants have a wide choice of food which is of excellent quality and one of the many attributes of this amazing Island.

Kite surfing, wind surfing, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling, golf and tennis are all easily available on Kuredu Island. Excursions such as night fishing, island hopping and the sunset & dolphin trip are available to book locally.

There is a wonderful spa on Kuredu Island where you can enter a world of complete sensory heaven where time is left at the door.

At Pro-divers your diving day starts about 8.30am at Pro Divers Dive Centre where there is a very well organised diving schedule. Just a short stroll away is the jetty with day boats or the beach which has a fantastic house reef ideal for training.

You return to the dive centre around 12pm, and then if you’re taking an afternoon dive you head out again at 1.30pm returning around 4pm. It is also possible to arrange 2 dives before lunch with an hour surface interval and there is opportunity to spend a whole day out diving with a BBQ lunch on a deserted Island! Early morning and night dives are also available.

Life on the reefs is prolific, but always keep an eye out into the blue, away from the reef into the thermoclines below you - you never know what action you may drift pass! The Maldives are particularly renowned for the large pelagics that visit the area, particularly sharks and rays. Night dives are a must as the reefs become highly active, with predators on the prowl. The Maldives wet season is between May and August, during this period reduced visibility may restrict the number of accessible dive sites, however a plankton bloom in May attracts whale sharks and manta rays.
