Ghar Lapsi

Depth – 11m to 22m Entry is via a shallow system of underwater caves lit up with beams of sunlight from the numerous slits and the two main exits on the open sea side of the cave. This is There are three main reefs and many small ones with depressions surrounded by rocky outcrops with most of the typical marine fauna of the Mediterranean Sea. The inner reef runs parallel to the shoreline at the shallowest depth, the second, known as the “Finger Reef” runs in a south-westerly direction, but the best of the three is the outer reef which zig zags parallel with the shore line. In one of the overhangs on the outer reef an artificial crib has been placed by the local dive club to create an interesting juxtaposed sense of man-made against natural reef, further along the reef is a cave with a hole in the roof, which you can exit through. There are large areas of sand and grass around these reefs, on the sand one can see Electric Rays and Flying Gurnards.
