Zonqor Point

Depth – to 22m The two tug boats, St. Michael and 10 were scuttled in 1998. They are both sitting upright at the bottom of a gentle sloping reef on the sand. This is an interesting dive of two wrecks, where groupers and moray can be found in the small engine rooms and often laying around on the deck you may find an electric ray who seems to have stopped to have a nap. Although the wrecks are 60 metres apart, it is not a problem for there is a line from one tug boat directly to the other. Once back on to the reef, if the visibility is good, this is as good as any place for photography. With many varieties of fish and hundreds of hollows, fissures and small overhangs, you may also test your skills to see how many octopus you can find.
