Atlantis Azores

One boat, four exciting itineraries.

January through to mid March is Whaleshark season in Southern Leyte. Enjoy unrivalled snorkelling action with these gentle giants and dive some unspoiled walls and slopes.

Tubbataha enjoys the most popular season running from mid March through to early June, during this time you can explore kilometres of pristine drop offs and see just about anything.

Dumaguete is the base for the summer months of June through to September and the Visayas Safari is a unique opportunity to take in several beautiful islands in one week,  something that would take several weeks, or several trips to do any other way.

Last, and by no means least, Azores spends October through to December based out of Puerto Galera exploring the birth place of diving in the Philippines – Anilao, and heading down to Apo Reef on the West coast of Mindoro – a hidden gem only a few get to see.

Below deck Azores has seven deluxe staterooms, with double and single berths, WC, hair dryer, private head shower. On the upperdeck you will find “The Suite”, the Suite offers all of the above, along with a picture window, desk and chair and extensive storage space.

Enjoy a wide selection of movies on the flat screen TV or sit back with a book or magazine from the library; plus an assortment of board games and cards are also available. Some evenings whilst on board you will be treated to one of Atlantis' unique marine life presentations, on your following days dive destination.



The Azores features a partially covered sun deck with chase lounges, complete wet bar, hot tub, an assortment of sitting areas with tables and large swim platform with warm freshwater showers.

The spacious dive deck allows you to gear up in comfort. A roomy three-tier camera table is available for photographers along with a charging station. All divers have their own storage area for dive equipment and there are fresh, hot water showers on the back platform.

There are many flights available to the Philippines through several leading airlines. Please chat with us prior to booking to see which routings best suit you, sometimes extending your brief stop over by a couple of hours can save you money!

Apo Reef & Best of Anilao
On arrival at Manila airport you will be transferred by road to Leah Beach. This takes 2 – 2.5 hours, which is followed by a boat transfer to Puerto Galera and takes approximately 1 hour. Total transfer time is 3 – 3.5 hours.

Southern Leyte
A domestic flight is required upon arrival in Manila to Tacloban, this takes approx 1 hour, on arrival it’s a 3 hour drive to the pier to board the Azores.

Tubbataha Reef
A domestic flight is required upon arrival in Manila to Puerto Princesa, this takes approx 1 hour, on arrival it’s a 20 minute drive to the pier to board the Azores.

Bohol
A domestic flight is required upon arrival in Manila to Dumaguete, this takes approx 1 hour, on arrival it’s a 30 minute drive to the pier to board the Azores.

Azores proudly adhere to our principle of only serving freshly "a la minute" prepared meals and snacks all day.

Start the day with a light continental breakfast of freshly baked bread, cereals, yoghurts and fruit. After the first dive you sit down to a full breakfast – meats, cheeses, sweet selections and of course eggs any way you choose.

Lunches and dinners have been selected from Atlantis’ most popular resort blackboard menu items and are served family style: Fresh seafood, Filipino favourites as well as a selection of pastas, salads and home-made soups.

If the regular selection of snacks, meals and drinks does not satisfy your appetite the boat has a snack and drinks bar open all day – brew your own fresh cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a home-made cookie or other tasty delicacies.

All the drinks on board are complimentary and in addition you may bring your own beverages (there are no corkage fees). Stocked beverages include: Fresh blended juice; Calamansi (local citrus fruit) juice; lime juice; ice tea, coffee, a selection of teas, milk; filtered drinking water; Coke; Coke Zero; Sprite; San Miguel Beer Pale Pilsner; San Miguel Beer Light; Tanduay Rum (one of the best in the world) and red and white wine.

Most dives are taken from two zodiacs, just a short ride to each dives site. The dive team will ensure you get the best from every dive, offering up to five dives a day (including night dives) although personal preferences or logistical concerns may change this on a day to day basis.
