There are several air guns distributed around the room, along with 2 and 3 prong power sockets (110 & 220 volts). There are paper towel dispensers for cleaning O-Rings and the shelf runs the length of the work surface for battery chargers. The room also has two internet-ready desktop PC's for guests to view their photos and upload to share on Facebook.

Their fresh seafood dishes are always popular and there are vegetarian alternatives as well as lighter and healthier meals. The all-day a la carte menu includes a wide range of pasta, pizza, sandwiches, and salads. Outside of the meal plan, snacks from the a la carte menu are available daily between 10.00 am and 10.00 pm at an additional charge.

World famous 50 Bar is the ocean front bar overlooking the Verde Island Passage and is where many guests and groups gather before, and after, dinner. Enjoy a mouth-watering selection of cocktails, local beer and wine, and one of the finest single malt collections in the Philippines.

The archipelago is home to more than 3,000 species of fish and 448 species of coral, here you can combine unbelievable muck-diving with pristine coral reefs and shoals of schooling fish. Mindoro is one of the most popular diving destinations in the Philippines, and Puerto Galera is at the centre being just minutes away from over 30 world class dive sites with something suitable for divers of all levels. A trip to Verde Island with its crystal-clear waters is a must as this area is widely regarded as being the heart of the ocean’s marine biodiversity. Across the region there is an abundance of marine life in all shapes and sizes from sharks to sweetlips, and turtles to nudibranch, along with beautiful hard and soft corals.

Atlantis Puerto Galera’s 5* PADI CD Centre is just one of a few centres with such a rating in Asia. Here you will find the highest standard of dive education, first class facilities and world class dive guides. The dive centre has 60 individual purpose-built equipment storage cubby-holes to keep your equipment dry and organized, high quality rental kit, spacious boats, a purpose-built training pool, fresh beach towels every day, snacks and drinking water, hot water shower in the dive shop, multiple compressors for Air, Nitrox and Trimix and to top all that, your equipment is carried for you. There are choices of dive sites daily, just have a chat with your guide about where you would like to go; the many dive sites are within a 10-minute boat ride from the resort and diving takes place in small groups of no more than 6 people.

Included within your diving package are 3 boat trips, you can choose from dive times of 9.00 am, 11.00 am, 2.00 pm, 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm as well as night dives. For something quite special try a Fluro Night Dive, by using a special filtered blue light and a yellow mask visor you will see corals and anemones stand out in neon colours. Lizardfish and spearer mantis shrimp glow an eerie green colour, scorpionfish emit a reddish-purple luminance, hermit crabs appear illuminated from within, seagrass take on a reddish-hue and nudibranchs will glow like they have been plugged into the mains. Night diving using 'blue light' is a whole new unique experience where you can witness first-hand the magic of fluorescence!

The Philippines is in the heart of the Pacific and blessed with tropical weather, there are two pronounced seasons, dry and wet. Late October to early June tends to be the most popular time however the critters and marine life are found here year-round. Visibility is around 15-25m, sometimes offering over 30m in certain areas. br/>
Just across the Verde Island passage is where you will find the island of Mindoro and Puerto Galera. Famous for their world class diving these destinations should be on every diver’s bucket list. The sheer diversity is what draws divers to the area hoping for sightings of the many underwater delights such as nudibranch, parrotfish, shrimps, pygmy seahorses, pipefish, large schools of big fish, huge sea fans, white tip sharks, octopus, stunning walls, vibrant reefs, and colourful hard and soft coral. The dive sites at Verde Island are some of the richest in biodiversity and the crystal-clear waters make it every underwater photographer’s dream.
