The East Nusa Tenggara archipelago, accessible primarily by liveaboard, is one of Indonesia’s final diving frontiers. This journey into the Alor region promises an immersive experience where every dive holds the potential for extraordinary discoveries.
Diving here is defined by the power of the currents, which bring in vast marine life—from the smallest critters to some of the ocean's largest predators. Each day offers a diverse underwater itinerary: perhaps beginning at a cleaning station visited by mola mola or thresher sharks, continuing at a seamount encircled by trevallies and swirling barracudas, and finishing with a night dive in search of the elusive Rhinopias.
In addition to the rich underwater life, sightings of whales and pods of dolphins are frequent, and shark encounters are almost guaranteed in this dynamic marine environment.
The experience extends beyond diving. Guests may encounter local children free-diving with handmade wooden goggles, explore traditional villages where cultural heritage remains strong, and marvel at the region’s dramatic volcanic landscapes that rise sharply from the sea.
