Along with many shark species there are beautiful reefs, caves and crevices, a couple of wrecks, and some of the most adrenalin packed diving with apex predators you could possibly ask for. This fascinating place is steeped in history and has a wonderful variety of different sceneries including beautiful beaches, lush winelands, forests, and lagoons. Whether you would like to enjoy cocktails on Durban’s Golden Mile or a hippo and croc cruise in St Lucia, this destination has so much to offer.

Table Mountain National Park has breath-taking scenery and covers a huge area from the North of Cape Town down to the Cape of Good Hope, with the iconic flat topped Table Mountain in the middle with its hiking trails, cable car and abseiling. Cape Town is a city that draws travellers from all over the globe, with many wanting to visit the prison on Robben Island, a Unesco World Heritage site, where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated. V&A Waterfront stands proud with Table Mountain as a backdrop and is bursting at the seams with over 450 retail outlets offering everything from food to fashion, and local produce to electrical goods, whilst still being a working harbour.

A visit to Kruger National Park is a wilderness experience that will never be forgotten. You can expect to encounter all of Africa’s safari icons such as lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, zebras, leopards, and elephants to name but a few, along with over 100 other mammals and 500 bird species. The sheer variety and quantity of wildlife, along with other activities, make it one of the best places to see animals in the world.

If you are looking for outdoor pursuits then The Garden Route has just that, Victoria Bay is a great surf spot, and the placid waters of Wilderness Lagoon are perfect for canoeing. The Drakensberg Region greets you with majestic mountains, deep valleys and pretty waterfalls that are a dream for photographers, and can be explored on foot, mountain bike or horseback. For foodies and wine lovers a tour of the three towns, Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, that make up South Africa’s Winelands are a must.
